An ancient curse! A lost city! A lake of crocodiles! OOK! In this new play for children, it’s up to Chester, Esther and OOK to save the world from being gobbled up by the All-Devouring Piggy Bank of Doom. Teatro-Saurus uses masks, puppets, music and a generous helping of jokes to tell this silly and spectacular tale of adventure.

Navigating a course somewhere between Coronation Street and Indiana Jones, OOK! And the Terrible Thing that Happened follows pensioners Chester and Esther Pocklington from a quiet evening in front of the television to the brink of global destruction! When Chester sees an advertisment for OOK (the best ever thing in the world ever) he feels compelled to buy it. But this rash purchase has terrible consequences: an ancient curse is invoked...

Previous shows have been described as: “a theatrical coup.” and "...What theatre is supposed to do."
